MUNITIONS
The 12 Gauge, Less Than Lethal Munitions manufactured by Precision Ordnance
Products, Inc.fall into four distinct categories. These Categories are:
2) Anti - Riot Impact Rounds
3) Gas & Smoke Rounds
4) Breaching Rounds
Precision Ordnance Products, Inc. manufactures three 12 Ga.
Diversion / Distraction Rounds as follows:
1. Flame Thrower Round: Is designed to provide a sheet of white hot sparks from
the muzzle of the shotgun out to distances of 45 meters (50 yards) or more. The sparks are
extremely lethal looking, but are relatively harmless. (They will start fires in combustible
materials).
2. Tactical Blast Bursting Round: This munition fires a single projectile which
leaves the barrel of the shotgun and then explodes with a bright flash and loud blast. Available
in: Short Range 45 meters (50 yards), Medium Range 68 meters (75 yards) and Long Range 91
meters (100 yards).
3. Ultra Flash Bursting Round: This munition is identical to the Tactical Blast
Bursting Round however, in addition to the Blast and Flash you have the addition of white hot
sparks to further confuse and terrify. Fire suppression should be on hand to put out any fires.
