DIVERSION DISTRACTION
GRENADE

Precision Ordnance Products, Inc. has several different models of Diversion /
Distraction Grenades, including our D - 400 Reusable DD (Diversion / Distraction) Training
Grenade, the DD - 450 Multi Blast Diversion / Distraction Grenade and the DD -451 Multi Ultra
Flash Diversion Distraction Grenade.

Diversion / Distraction Grenades are lesser powered Grenades that are designed to Divert
and Terrify and Distract an individual but are not designed to, AND WILL NOT, produce a “Stun”

effect.

The D-451 has the same blast and flash characteristics of the D-450 with the addition of
bright white sparks which will terrorize, but not injure the subjects. Tactical Units in training are
also taught to make their entry while the D-451 is going off giving the entry team the advantage
in any tactical situation. The Ultra-Flash material can start smoldering fires if they contact
flammable material (i.e.: draperies etc.) It is recommended that the eight or ninth man through
the door bring a fire extinguisher to put out any fires that may start.

The D-451 has a red End Cap to distinguish the D-451 from the D-450

WHEN HANDLING THESE DEVICES, ALL PERSONNEL IN THE AREA SHOULD BE WEARING BODY
ARMOR, BALACLAVA EYE AND EAR PROTECTION ETC. ALL PERSONNEL SHOULD BE PLACED BEHIND
COVER, IN BOTH TRAINING AND TACTICAL USAGE OF THESE DEVICES AS THERE IS ALWAYS THE
POSSIBILITY OF SECONDARY FRAGMENTATION (IE: GLASS, NAILS, ROCKS)

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT, YOU, THE END USERS HAVE SEVERAL PEOPLE ON YOUR
TACTICAL UNIT CERTIFIED IN THE USE OF THESE MUNITIONS. PRECISION ORDNANCE PRODUCTS,
